Stan Hartke

I like a good ordinary day. Work that matters. Taking care of myself. Time with people I love. Some of what change taught me is on this site, if it’s useful.

Black and white portrait of Stan Hartke.

What I made

Project Continuum

Remembering. Living. Becoming. Three versions of a person, and a small practice for letting them sit at the same table.

It grew out of illness, time, gratitude, and trying to stay present. The book holds the longer conversation. This site holds a private practice that stays in your browser.

Project Continuum emblem: a metallic triangle and gold sphere over a path toward a sunrise.

Lived change

The visible part is not the whole story.

I changed my body in a serious way. That matters. What mattered more was learning I could keep a promise to myself.

The earlier version of me is not a villain. That person lived the years that made later change possible.

The rest of the life

Home, marriage, dogs.

My wife. Bramlet and Xena. A little more of that is on the About page. I don’t tell their stories for them.
